Where the Money Goes
Funds donated to the Treme Artists Collective (TAC) support our numerous programs and activities. Funds donated are allocated to 15% of program operations, leaving the additional 85% on every dollar to go directly to our programs.
Cultural Preservation:
Funds donated are to support research, performance and education of music of the Southern Diaspora; People Of Color's cultural creations in the southern states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas.
Musician presentations, panel discussions:
Funds donated will support live presentations, tours and recordings of musical presentations by TAC musicians. Funds will also be used to support intellectual discourse on the creation, presentation and preservation of music of the Southern Diaspora.
Musician Social services support:
Funds donated will support TAC musicians in receiving affordable housing, adequate healthcare, retirement and financial assistance throughout their careers.
Arts-In-Education presentations:
Funds donated will support in-school presentations for elementary, middle and high school youth of educational programs highlighting the contributions of POC from the Southern Diaspora.
